Light Steel Keel

Light steel keel is a building support framework cold-formed from hot-dip galvanized steel sheets or high-quality alloys. It boasts excellent rust resistance, moisture resistance, and corrosion resistance, enabling it to effectively withstand the impact of complex environments such as humidity and high temperature, with a service life far exceeding that of traditional wooden keels. Its U-shaped cross-section features a mechanically optimized design, where the width and depth of the notch are compatible with various specifications of facing materials. The inner side of the groove is often equipped with reinforcing ribs or clamping groove structures, which can enhance overall rigidity and improve load-bearing capacity, making it suitable for large-span ceiling and partition systems. During installation, U-shaped keels do not require complex connectors; they can be directly and quickly spliced with hangers and secondary keels, and assembly can be completed with special fasteners, significantly shortening the construction period.
