Steel planks are a type of construction tool in the building industry. They are generally referred to as steel scaffolding planks, construction steel planks, steel treads, galvanized steel planks, or hot-dip galvanized steel treads, and are widely promoted and used in the shipbuilding industry, oil platforms, electric power, and construction sectors.
Steel planks are drilled with M18 bolt holes, which serve to connect planks to each other and adjust the width of the platform base. Between adjacent steel planks, 180mm-high toe boards are used. These toe boards are painted with alternating black and yellow paint and fixed in place with screws through their respective three holes. This allows for a secure connection between the steel planks.
